The following gallery is a collection of photos I took for the Chicago Breast Cancer Fund Raiser. I volunteered my time as a photographer and got some great shots. The pictures were taken on a Canon T2i with various lenses. The location was a club called The Underground.
The dark environment and LED wall made it somewhat difficult to capture high quality images. I used a Canon Speedlite with diffuser and bounced the light off the walls and ceiling. This gave me adequate lighting for the pictures. I experimented with various shutter speeds while using the flash to capture some of the motion blur from people’s movement. Overall it was a challenging yet rewarding shoot and I am proud of the results. Check them out below.
